Calling CARIBBEAN
This Festival, an
annual
Caribbean cultural festival, is the ONLY one
of its kind in the
Midwest. Its appeal is broad-based and will continue to grow each year,
attracting thousands and thousands of visitors. Our goal includes heightening the awareness of Caribbean culture through our music, dance, arts etc., and providing exposure for our Caribbean artistes. We are looking for musicians and other performers with CARIBBEAN, AFRO/CARIBBEAN, and AFRO LATIN content, which will project the image and diversity of the Caribbean region. Performances to be awarded include our culture pavilion, main sound stage, and veranda area. Please provide us with your promotional kit and/or any tapes or CDs. We may request an audition of your group.
What
to submit: Brief statement of your performance outline Bio/professional resume of your group Promotional photographs Two reviews (optional) A representative sample of your work Musicians: CD or DVD Dance groups: one VHS videotape or DVD
